Welcome Baby Cache!
Our little boy was born June 15, 2010, weighing 8 lbs 11 ounces and measuring 21 inches long. He was scheduled to be born the 14, but apparently IHC likes to bump me to the day after I am really scheduled. We were so happy to see him! He was born at 12:43 pm, and since they broke my water at 8:30 am, it was a smooth delivery! As the girls always say, "easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!" He's been a great baby so far, my easiest to date. He doesn't cry unless he's hungry and then he just screams! My mom says he's setting himself up to be demanding and spoiled...hmmm could be? The pediatrician at his 2 week appointment says he clearly has a system that's working for him because he weighed 9 1/2 lbs at that point. He is so fun! The girls adore him and I can't get enough of my new little man.

School's Out For Summer!
Yay! It's graduation time and we had two celebrations this year! First Rylin graduated from Creative Critters Preschool, she loved it and had a great time there. Her teacher was fabulous and we really enjoyed her first year of school.
Mika-Lee had her Kindergarten Celebration, can you believe that? I hardly can! I can't believe she will be going to first grade already! Time flies! She attended Providence Hall Elementary and will continue there, she had Mrs. Proud and we loved her! She is an excellent teacher! If you are wondering where the grandparents are at Rylin's graduation....so was she. She yelled in the middle of her song, "Where's Grandma and Grandpa?" We, her parents felt awesome! So, let it be noted the reason there are no grandparents at Rylin's graduation is 1. because I didn't bother telling them about it.....because 2. it was at 9:30 am on a Thursday morning! We all felt really bad but not to worry....there will be another one next year! For now we look forward to school being out for the summer! Stay tuned for our newest family member due to arrive any day!

Soccer Season.....What??!!?!
Aren't these girls cute! It's true Trent is a hater of soccer; however, we are quickly becoming fans after watching our girls play. We love it, Rylin was only upset for a few minutes when she realized her uniform was blue and not pink! We promised pink shoes and she is good to go. Mika named her team, they are the White Dragons, if you read my previous post about dragons this comes as no surprise. We just have to remind her this is soccer, do not drop into dragon stance on the field please, and no screeching at other players! But you know, it may just be an effective tactic.
Rylin has had a lot of fun, her team is the Blue Star Dragons, hmmmm wonder where that came from? She does great, see that first pic? All is well until she falls down, see the second pic? She's crying, only happened 3 times in the first game. She may need to toughen up a bit.
Mika has been a super lover of soccer! She is the one who really wanted to play and I can't believe how aggressive she is, her daddy is so proud! He says she has that competitive Hendry gene. I'm going to have to agree, check her out pushing that girl! Yikes! Well, hopefully this is an avenue where she can release some of her hostility and it isn't on me. Yes! I love Soccer!

I'm Baaaaack!!!
Okay my mourning period is finally over! I fully intend to recover from my awful blog tragedy and while I haven't forgiven Blogger for their terrible customer service I am still willing to use their service because frankly, I have no choice. I have missed seeing all of your blogs and being updated on your lives, so here goes the next attempt at blogging our lives. Can't wait to be back in the circuit.

Happy Easter Bock Bock!
This year we spent Easter in St. George! It was beautiful and I so needed the warm weather! Here are some highlights of the weekend....the Easter Bunny was very good to these little chicks.
An Easter egg hunt in the park was very entertaining, they even had a creepy man in a rabbit suit hopping around. All the kids got plenty of candy though and they got to pet a baby chick, it was great!
Here's some photos of Rylin putting on quite a show at the Art's Festival, I guess she thought all the people were there to see her, and believe me....she wasn't shy.
Here's a few a Mikee

Easter at Grandma Cheryl's
Easter at Grandma Cheryl's brought the girls new swimsuits, can you tell how much they loved them? The little posers!
It also brought a favorite Easter egg hunt!
Why these little girls think it's a great idea to have an Easter egg hunt in their new swimsuits on the 28 of March is beyond me....it wasn't warm! They didn't seem to care though, they had a great time!

Boys with guns
I love how all of our families are so different, here's an example of the fun Trent has with my dad and brothers...not exactly golfing or remote control trucks. They all got their concealed weapon permit a bit ago and all the boys in my family have a gun except Trent. He just has the permit to carry one, nevertheless they spent one Saturday morning pretending they might need one one day,
and exercising their right to bear arms! Go boys!
